It was fantastic to have you at our function to raise money for the Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club last Friday 12th March 2021.

It was an outstanding event, well organised by our Ray White Team and the guest speakers were brilliant. However, the highlight of the afternoon which really got everyone relaxed and in a great frame of mind was your session as our comedian. Your jokes were brilliant and you were straight off the cuff with relevant material relating to the Surf Club, the Gold Coast and the people in the audience. I would rate you 10/10 for entertainment.

Steve Allison was the comedian for the St Andrews Society annual Bannockburn Dinner at the Star Gold Coast on Friday, 7th June 2024.

Steve did a fantastic job and was absolutely on point, with what can sometimes be a difficult audience to keep amused and engaged.

Steve did quite a bit of communication with us prior to the event, and that effort was repaid as he had the room in frequent belly laughs.

The feedback from our guests was all positive and really added to their enjoyment of the night.

We will definitely have Steve back to entertain us a future dinners

I have known and worked with Steve Allison for almost 30 years.

When I first met Steve in 1995, he was the primary standup comedian used by Village Roadshow Warner Bros for our special event clients. We sought and received feedback from every client and for those that booked Steve, comments about his performance were commonly one of the first items they mentioned. Steve was very well received, which proved his ability to entertain and engage a corporate audience at a very high and consistent level.

Since that time, I have had the pleasure of booking Steve for a number of events where a comedian was required. In early 2010, working with Steve we developed an annual comedy event with the aim to keep hundreds of guests laughing for hours over lunch. Not only did Steve host the event as the comic MC but sourced and coordinated all the comedians (minimum three per event), over many successful years. The event became so popular it was frequently sold out in under two weeks.

I know many who attended are still quoting and laughing at some of Steve’s classic one liners.

Moving forward to the 2020’s, I still have the pleasure of putting Steve in front of audiences and after watching him perform, it is amazing how fresh, consistent and funny his standup comedy
remains. Steve brings so much energy and comedic brilliance to the room.

In May 2024, Steve performed to a mixed gender, varied age and diverse audience of a few hundred people and he read the room perfectly. His comedy was on point with a wide array of
subject matter all delivered with impeccable timing. Even the sternest CEO in the room had tears rolling down his face!

Steve is a consummate professional, a superb entertainer, a highly engaging personality, and, above all else, an incredibly funny comedian.

If you are looking for a stand-up comedian of the highest order, you will do yourself and your clients a disservice if you do not use Steve Allison.
